A few shots from the CSCS opener at Mosport DDT. This is one of the fastest cars in north america, FWD or otherwise.
Unfortunately the day was pretty rushed and I didn’t get to go back for more shots. Certainly didn’t help that James Houghton only did the one on-track session but I’ll take what I can get. Heavy fog and rain rolled in throughout the individual class sessions so times were slower than usual.

Even in the wet it’s a good time for the track. He did a 1:26.244 when it was dry.

Somewhat related - I highly recommend listening to the recent episode of the Slip Angle podcast James was on. His old-married-couple-style banter with this teammate is absolutely hysterical. And he has some good stories of overnight emergency engine swaps at the track too.

James has his own semi-regular podcast too: Time With Attackers, and has had guests from around the industry and also the names responsible for running some pretty big teams (Stewart from Can-Jam Motorsports was a good one). I remember following real time when his engine/gearbox gave out the day before finals (I think it was super lap battle) and Lavigne Motorsports had to build an entirely fresh block and overnight it.
But yeah James and Chris are great people to hang around.
